I went away for a little while,
not knowing where I went,
the Lord was still by my side
even though my heart was spent
He wouldn't let me go, for that I repent.

I am back again
was like a lost friend,
took me a while but
I am back again.

I am smitten by His Love,
He let me into His heart
my love for Him, I will not forsake.
Even when I was not right
He wouldn't let me go, for that I repent.

He is always there for you
even when you think He isn't.
Just look up and ask the Lord
to help you out of Satan's prison
