Oh, Lord, our God, what can we do?
How can we stop the suffering in the South?
We must spread The Word, Our Jesus.
We must tell the people, they are not alone
And aren't forgotten, oh, Prince of Peace.
We can't afford to do absolutely nothing.
We must reach out, and do something
We should band together and give.
Give of ourselves, money, and prayers
Give clothes, food plus something to share.
Oh, Lord, our God, what can we do?
A million plus their beloved pets,
Are still without homes, food, and displaced.
Still strong in spirit, they need an answer.
The millions are still quite needy.
The good and bad are equal, in this tragic time, don't let them down,
They're still there. Oh, Lord, it is a serious disgrace.
Oh, Lord, our God, what can we do?
People have died down in the South.
Others are still living from hand to mouth.
And indeed, we must spread The Word, Our Jesus.
Lord, always be with us.
May God be support and comfort the suffering.
For the people who are volunteering,
May God bless them and keep them
safely in the Palms of His Holy Hands, America, Amen!!
